Instinct XI is a free-to-play football strategy game built around two connected challenges: selecting a Fantasy XI and building a virtual player portfolio. Managers can trade virtual player units, construct an eligible 15-player squad, follow verified Matchday scoring and compete in Head-to-Head leagues. Fantasy points are driven by supported football performances, while Market prices are driven separately by verified user demand.

Yes. Creating an account and playing the complete core game is free, including the Fantasy XI, virtual Market, Matchday, leagues, portfolio tracking and digital achievements. Instinct XI Pro is an optional analysis subscription at £6.50 monthly or £60 annually; it is not required to compete and does not provide different scoring, trade limits or prize eligibility. Creating a free account never starts a paid subscription automatically.

Every manager starts with £100,000 of in-game virtual cash. It is used only inside Instinct XI to buy and sell virtual player units, build an eligible squad and track a virtual portfolio value. Virtual cash is a gameplay balance—not money, a deposit, an investment product or a promise of future value.

No. Instinct XI does not accept real-money deposits, and virtual cash, player units, portfolio values and digital achievements cannot be withdrawn, redeemed or exchanged for cash or anything of monetary value. Buying and selling refers only to in-game virtual transactions. A rising portfolio value is progress inside the game, not a financial return.

Prices are recalculated on the scheduled Market Pulse using verified aggregate buying and selling demand from Instinct XI managers. Movement is controlled by interval and daily caps, with additional protections where activity is limited or evidence is thin. Goals, assists, injuries and Fantasy points can influence managers’ decisions, but they do not directly or automatically reprice a player.

Fantasy points are calculated from supported football statistics using Instinct XI’s published scoring rules. Managers select a valid Starting XI from their eligible 15-player squad before the Gameweek deadline; the selected captain can receive a personal ×2 multiplier, with the vice-captain acting only under the applicable backup rules. Live totals may remain provisional while provider data is checked and become final only after verification and settlement.

Managers are paired against an opponent for each league Gameweek, and their verified Fantasy XI totals decide the result. A win earns three league points, a draw one and a loss zero, with the table updating after the Gameweek is settled. Pre-deadline lineups remain private, and incomplete or unverified scoring is not treated as a final result.

Instinct XI Pro unlocks Instinct IQ, an optional football decision assistant covering Squad Analysis, Player Comparison, Market Intelligence and Gameweek Strategy. It uses authorised account context and supported evidence to explain a recommendation, the trade-offs and what could change the call, with up to 20 premium questions per Gameweek. It never makes an automatic trade or lineup change, cannot guarantee an outcome and does not alter the rules applied to free managers.

Create a free Instinct XI manager account using email or Google and complete the secure sign-in process. Your new account receives £100,000 in virtual cash and access to the full core game, ready for you to build a portfolio and eligible squad. You remain in control of whether you later choose the optional Pro subscription.

You must be at least 13 to create an account. Managers aged 13–17 can use the free core game with age-appropriate privacy protections, but cannot purchase Instinct XI Pro or enter any future real-world prize promotion.

No. Real-world prizes are not currently active, advertised or claimable. Digital achievements remain part of the free game. Any future prize promotion would begin prospectively under separately published rules and would not require Pro.

No. Instinct XI runs as a mobile-first web application in a supported browser. On compatible phones and tablets, you can add it to your Home Screen for a more app-like full-screen experience and quicker access. It is not currently presented as a native Apple App Store or Google Play release, and updates arrive through the live web app.
